adorable-1807544_960_720The Land of Smiles offers an idyllic location for wellness retreats.

This Southeast Asian country is known for its tropical beaches, ancient ruins, royal palaces, and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha.

The bustling capital city of Bangkok is a mixture of old and new, shopping in designer malls next to street markets and food stalls while along the river there are  dinner cruises aboard traditional dhows or day trips in longboats to see the quiet canalside communities and floating markets.

Ko Phi Phi is a small archipelago in the Krabi Province in Southern Thailand and known for the filming location of the “The Beach”. There are almost no motorized vehicles on the island as most places are within a ten-minute walk away. Long boats provide the transport between the islands.

Ko Samui is one of the most visited islands, dotted with small bungalows and exclusive villas. It offers lively festivals and hosts street fairs where vendors line the streets with local delicacies, clothing and souvenirs.

The larger island of Phuket is home to a wide variety of resorts line, sandy beaches, golf courses and of course shopping areas.
